artist's statement
The Angel
I started off with a rough design of my sculpture which entailed several nails added to the side of the plastic cone shape. I then added the wire mesh and cut holes on the side to add perspective. I then cut out the aluminium can and sprayed it red.
I really enjoyed making this and it has changed my views of surreal artwork.
